Jonathan is the founder and CEO at AVLV. Jonathan leads the company’s architecture and development operations as well as the overall long term growth, strategy, and mission.
Jonathan is an innovator, a visionary, a scholar, a humanitarian, and an environmentalist. His education and experience as an architect, general contractor, and developer are what has shaped his holistic approach to the built environment.
Starting from humble beginnings, Jonathan is self made. He started his career as a general laborer in construction to pay the bills while first attending architecture school. Over the years Jonathan has received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Temple University while gaining experience working in both the architecture and construction industries. Jonathan has gained his architecture experience from prestigious firms such as HDO architecture, WRT Design, and Atrium Design Group. As he rose through the ranks, Jonathan became a registered architect and general contractor. Having this dual knowledge and realizing the need for sustainable developments, Jonathan became a real estate developer and created a vertically integrated architecture and development company, AVLV.
